Gary Damico | Attorney and Associate
Hello everyone. I joined Evans Law in June 2019 in my ninth year of legal experience.
Between 2011 and 2014, I worked for a boutique criminal defense firm in downtown Baltimore, where I gained an assortment of legal writing and trial court experience. With a few formative years of firm practice and development under my belt, I established my own practice in 2014 and continued litigating throughout the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland.
I have long participated in the real estate enterprise as both an associate broker and attorney. Most recently, between 2017 and 2019, I lawyered in Washington, DC, where I assisted various entities in the synthesis of cases involving Electronically Stored Information (ESI). These connected experiences- real estate, litigation, and entrepreneurship- position me to thrive with clients of varied circumstances and real estate objectives.
I retain active membership and have volunteered in a number of legal and philanthropic organizations, including the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, the Maryland State Department of Education, and Single Carrot Theatre (where my wife is the Executive Director!).
I was born and raised in Baltimore’s Medfield neighborhood (adjacent to Hampden), where I attended high school at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Poly). I then moved on to the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
I currently live in Otterbein with my wife Emily.
