Gary Damico Attorney in Annapolis, MD
Hello everyone! I joined Evans Law as an associate attorney in June 2019 after eight years of diverse legal experience. Between 2011 and 2014, I worked for a boutique criminal defense firm in downtown Baltimore, where I gained an assortment of legal writing and trial court experience. To say that I got my feet wet is an understatement.
With a few years of firm practice and administration under my belt, I established my own practice in 2014 and continued litigating throughout the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland. At one point in 2015, I was fortunate enough to have active cases in twelve separate jurisdictions.
Leading up to my position at Evans Law, I also participated in the real estate enterprise as an associate broker and attorney in Baltimore. Most recently, between 2017 and 2019, I commuted to Washington, DC, where I assisted a few larger firms in the synthesis of cases involving Electronically Stored Information (ESI). These connected experiences- real estate, litigation, and entrepreneurship- position me to thrive with clients of varied circumstances and real estate objectives.
I retain active membership and volunteer in a number of legal and philanthropic organizations, including the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and the Maryland State Department of Education.
A bit about my background. I was born and raised in Baltimore’s Medfield neighborhood, adjacent to Hampden, where I proudly attended high school at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Poly). I then moved on to the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
I currently live in downtown Baltimore with my wife (and native Annapolitan) Emily. No kids or pets to speak of at the moment- stay tuned!
