Sophia Franzak, Associate in Annapolis, MD
I am ecstatic to have recently joined Evans Law as an Associate. Prior to joining the firm, I had the opportunity to work for the Baltimore City States Attorney’s Office as a law clerk. Immediately upon graduating law school, I held a Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable Judge Yolanda Tanner in the Baltimore City Circuit Court. During my time with Judge Tanner, I was exposed to many facets of law, ranging from land disputes to criminal trials. The real estate litigation ultimately captured my attention, and here I am!
A little background about me. I graduated from James Madison University with a Degree in Business Management and a focus on Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I then went to the University of Baltimore School of Law, where I was the Editor in Chief of the school’s Journal for International Law, as well as the Vice President of the Moot Court Program. I knew Maryland was a great place to attend law school and further my passions as an attorney. More than anything, I wanted to start my career in the place I was born and raised.
I am currently a member of the Baltimore City Bar Association along with the Maryland State Bar Association. I hope to make my own impact in those organizations by both focusing on philanthropic events and making genuine connections with like-minded professionals.
