Carrie Fockler
Administrative Director
As Administrative Director for Evans Law, Carrie Fockler relies on her experience in numerous real estate industry roles throughout her career.
She began working in building materials for her family’s now-century-old business, The J.F. Johnson Lumber Company. Shortly after getting married, she moved to Richmond, VA, and ascended to a senior project manager position with a high-end remodeling company. Here, she gained extensive knowledge of residential construction leading crews, from tear out to final walkthrough. She had her daughter, Carly, with her husband Blake in Richmond and eventually moved home to Maryland, residing in Severna Park. They soon had their son, Corbin, and settled into a land use project management role for a local contractor.
Turning her community focus towards real estate was a natural step. Looking up to her grandfather, who owned a brokerage in Baltimore, Carrie forged a career in residential brokerage. She earned a public relations designation and worked under the mentorship of many tenured agents in the area. She excelled in the competitive landscape of contract negotiation for her clients. Eventually, Carrie entered real estate administration and she really started to find her groove. Carrie has worked for a national brokerage, a small real estate team, and a title company, refining her skills in executive coordination, accounting, event planning, and marketing.
In her downtime, Carrie loves to be outside, preferably on a bike or at a campground. Her Boston Terrier pup is her everything and she also enjoys tinkering around on the piano!
