Matthew S. Evans, Jr. “Strohm”
Strohm was born and raised in Severna Park, Maryland. He graduated from the Severn School in 1960 and then attended the U.S. Naval Academy, graduating in 1964. After graduation, Strohm went to Naval Aviation Training and obtained his Naval Aviator Wings in 1966. He was assigned to a squadron in Norfolk, Virginia where he spent two cruises aboard USS Intrepid in 1967 and 1968, both to Vietnam. In 1971, Strohm joined the Maryland Air National Guard located at Martin State Airport, where he flew O-2, C-7 and C-130 aircrafts before retiring in 1991.
In 1970, Strohm entered the University of Baltimore Law School and graduated in 1973. Following law school, Strohm clerked for the Honorable Walter H. Moorman, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Thereafter, he began a General Practice of Law in 1974 through 1987 with several Annapolis law firms.
By 1987, Strohm became the owner of United Title, a successful real estate settlement company.
In 2015, Strohm became Of Counsel to Evans Law, focusing on complex real estate and title matters and estate law. Strohm brought over 40 years of experience in real estate law and will be incredibly missed.
