Caterina Sorrento
Senior Law Clerk
Hi everyone. I eagerly joined Evans Law in January 2021 as a law clerk. I am a rising third year law student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Before attending law school, I graduated from Stevenson University magna cum laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I then worked as a government contractor under the Department of Defense in the Aberdeen Test Center until I accepted a position as a public records specialist.
As a law student, I serve as a Legal Writing Fellow in the University of Baltimore Legal Writing Center and am a staff editor on one of the school’s journals, Law Review. In addition, I serve as a law scholar for several courses including Torts, Contracts I, and Contracts II where I regularly engage with first year students to reinforce important legal concepts. Ultimately, contracts interested me the most and I am pleased to have found an area of the law I am passionate about.
I grew up in Carmel, New York, a suburb of New York City. I moved to Maryland when I was 18 not knowing what to expect, but I loved it here enough that I never left! I currently live in Baltimore City with my family.
