Caterina Sorrento
Associate
Prior to attending law school, Caterina earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Stevenson University and began her career as a government contractor working under the Department of Defense. She then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude in the top 6% of her class. As a law student, Caterina juggled various leadership roles that helped foster her passion for building meaningful connections with her peers and later, her clients.
Over her two years at the firm, Caterina acquired expertise and ample experience carrying out transactional and litigation matters regarding real estate, construction, and land use. With ample support from her co-workers, Caterina’s role recently transitioned from the firm’s senior law clerk to an associate attorney.
During law school, Caterina spent several summers assisting civil legal aid programs to provide pro bono and low bono legal services to Maryland residents. Upon her admission to the Maryland Bar, Caterina immediately jumped on the opportunity to work with the Maryland Center for Legal Assistance where she volunteers as a pro bono attorney. As an advocate for equal access to justice for all, Caterina is grateful that Evans Law shares her commitment to the betterment of the Annapolis community and the justice system as a whole.
Outside of the office, you can find Caterina exploring Annapolis with her husky, Skye, or petting her cats, Pepper and Petrie. When she finds the time, Caterina also enjoys visiting her home state, New York, to see her family. They might root for different teams, but Caterina and her partner Jeff love catching a couple of O’s/Yankees games during baseball season and enjoy cheering for the Los Angeles Rams together during football season.
